How's this for a plot for a mucial ballet?
A elderly women rests on a chair and watches as her grandaughter, wearng a a tutu and ballet shoes, dances around. It's christmas time, and a chistmas tree stands brightly in one corner. The daughter asks the grandmother to tell her a sotry, and the granny says soemthign like, "oh no dear, the only story I knwo is a sad one." but the girl insists and the grandma begins: (the story is the play, durr) A talented, ambitious young ballerina struggles to finance her dreams, all while tending for her ill mother and young sister. The mother used to have dreams of her own; however, when she was rising in the ballet world, a rich, married aristocrat wood her. The man promised to divorce the wife and start a new life with her, and she believed it fully. They had two children together - the daughter and her younger sister - but as soon as the man's wife foudn out, he left the mother to raise the children on her own. The daughter dances on the streets and works during the night for money to take care of her family. Every day, at the same time, a man stops and watches her perform for an hour before he leaves, dropping her a big tip each time. One day, he drops a bag while leaving. She calls after him, "sir! Sir, excuse me! Your bag - you dropped it!" but he doesn't turn around. She opens the bag to find a spick new pair of pointe shoes (her old ones were dirty and worn) and a business card for a balelt company with a note scribbled on, "meet me at blahjurqihg rekjgherghwe" (with somethign else inspirational, I dunno.) So she meets him at the ballet building and discovers he's a brilliant (zoe's word) ballet coach who is amazed by her potential and natural talent and wishes to make her a star. They train for a while before he breaks it to her that, although he's willing to pay for most of the expenses, she's goign to have to provide him with four thousand dollars for him to debut her into the world of proffesional ballet. Heartbroken, she works harder than every and begins to falter while performing out of exauhst. At the same time that this plot is going on, an extremely wealthy man sees her ont he streets and instantly falls in love with her (of cooourse.). However, after inquiring a few people about the mysterious, alluring dancer, he finds out her mistrust tof rich people and men in general (after what happened to her mother - she was maybe eleven when her father abandoned them compeltely) and pretends to be a poor man to get close to her. Eventually he cures her of her mistrust and seduces her, as excpected. They have a nice, charmign romance, blah blah blah, and she begins to dance better fthrough her reheated passion for life. The day before christmas, he tells her that he has a surprise for her. Getting excited, she tells him that she, too, has a surprise for him - she's preggo. Christmas day, she waits and waits for him, but he doesn't show up. Then, late int he night, a pair of grim-lookign men appear at her door. They tell her that her lvoer has died (how, we'll figure out later) and that, on his body, they found a ring in his pocket with her name on it and a love poem. Then they show her his will - to her surprise, she finds out that he's left her all his money - all four million of it. Then she sings a song about bittersweet dreams, the end. There's obciously going to be mroe sublots and stuff. Yesh.
