If you have a Mac, please help. Question concerning uploading a video off iMovie?

Ok, so my friend and I made a video on iMovie, and were wanting to upload it on Facebook. It's a lengthy video, so I understand it should take a while; which is fine. If you have ever uploaded a video from iMovie onto Facebook, this question is for you: when it says the estimated time remaining, has it ever stayed on a time for a long while. For example, *3 minutes remaining* and it continues to say that for like 10 minutes?
